Grade 9 Ref Class

Gloucester City Youth Soccer League sponsored a grade 9 Referee Class. The class started at 8:30am but parents and kids were there at 7:30am. Kids from all over the state were there. The furthest teenager was from Fair Lawn, NJ, 1 hour and 45 mins away. The dad and son were on the road at 6am to be at class by 8am. That is dedication. All the participants were dedicated. Everyone had great questions and a lot of real world soccer experiences to share with the class.

Our instructor Scott, has over 20 years experience refereeing soccer and Fustal. His life experiences added "realness" to the class that everyone could relate to. Scott is a certified New Jersey Referee Instructor. He instructs referee certification of various levels and Fustal referees.

We are thankful for the Gloucester City Democrat Club for use of their building.
